Manuel Oliver is an activist and co-founder of Change The Ref, an organization created to combat gun violence and advocate for stricter gun control laws. He became an outspoken figure in the fight against gun violence after losing his son, Joaquin, in the Parkland shooting of 2018, using his personal tragedy to inspire change and educate others.
