Marc Navarro

Marc Navarro is a historian from Barcelona who gained attention in mid-2023 for uncovering a previously unreported document in the Federal Archive of Berlin. This document, dated December 16, 1936, indicated that the Nazi regime had investigated claims regarding Francisco Franco's possible Jewish roots, which highlighted the regime's obsession with racial identity. Navarro's research is part of his doctoral thesis focusing on the Spanish Embassy in Berlin during the years 1931-1945, and he has contributed to the understanding of Franco's complex relationship with Nazi Germany.
