Oscar Weck

Oscar Weck is the general manager of Bioingredientes Amazónicos, an organization dedicated to promoting sustainable economic initiatives in the Amazon region of Colombia. Under his leadership, the organization has worked with over 200 families to integrate into the value chain of cacay oil, a product known for its skin health benefits. Weck emphasizes the importance of international cooperation, particularly from Usaid, in strengthening local businesses and fostering sustainable development in an area heavily impacted by illicit economies.
