Robert Baer

Robert Baer is a former CIA officer and author who has publicly expressed his belief that Iran, rather than Libya, was responsible for the Lockerbie bombing. His assertions are based on intelligence insights and evidence suggesting a coordinated effort by Iranian-backed groups to execute the attack as retribution for the U.S. shooting down an Iranian passenger plane earlier in 1988.
