Under his leadership, his unit evolved from a company in 2022 to a brigade by 2024, demonstrating remarkable growth and effectiveness in utilizing unmanned aerial systems. His contributions to Ukraine's defense were recognized when President Volodymyr Zelensky awarded him the title of Hero of Ukraine, along with the Golden Star order, in recognition of his exemplary service.
