Ronald Ojeda Moreno
Ronald Ojeda Moreno was a former Venezuelan Army lieutenant born on September 2, 1991, in Maracay, Venezuela. He gained notoriety for his opposition to the Nicolás Maduro regime, having been involved in a failed military uprising known as 'Espada de Dios' in 2017. After seeking asylum in Chile in 2018, he became active in social media, denouncing human rights abuses and advocating for political prisoners. Tragically, Ojeda was kidnapped in Santiago on February 21, 2024, and found murdered ten days later, sparking international outrage and investigations into potential links to the Venezuelan government.
