Seán Ronayne is an Irish ornithologist from Cobh, County Cork, known for his dedication to bird preservation. With over 12,000 recordings of bird sounds, he aims to document every bird species in Ireland. His project, which began while living in Spain, highlights the plight of birds at risk of extinction, with more than half of Ireland’s bird species facing threats.
