
Shi Lang
Shi Lang was a general of the Qing Dynasty who played a crucial role in the conquest of Taiwan in 1683. Tasked by Emperor Kangxi, he led military campaigns that culminated in the surrender of Cheng Cheng-kung's grandson, Cheng Ke-shuang, thus integrating Taiwan into the Qing Empire.
