Stewart Beck is a seasoned Canadian diplomat with a diverse background, having served as Canada's High Commissioner to India from 2010 to 2014 and as Consul General in San Francisco during his six years in Silicon Valley. He is the former CEO of the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and currently leads the LINC-Asia Program at Simon Fraser University's Jack Austin Centre. Beck is a strong advocate for predictable economic policies, drawing from his experiences to criticize the erratic trade policies under U.S. President Donald Trump, which he believes hinder innovation and competition.
