Sunao Tsuboi was a prominent Japanese hibakusha and an activist against nuclear weapons, who survived the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. He dedicated his life to sharing his experiences and advocating for peace, serving as a leader in the Nihon Hidankyo organization and meeting with global leaders to raise awareness about the consequences of nuclear warfare until his death in 2021.
