Talaat Pasha
Talaat Pasha was a prominent leader of the Ottoman Empire and one of the main architects of the Armenian Genocide during World War I. After the war, he fled to Germany where he lived under an alias until he was assassinated by Soghomon Tehlirian in 1921, an act that was seen as an act of vengeance for the genocidal policies he implemented.
