Tasin Gemil
Tasin Gemil is a prominent Romanian historian and professor, known for his expertise in Turcology and Central Asian studies. He has served as the director of the Institute of Turcology and Central Asian Studies in Romania since 2009, where he focuses on the history, language, culture, and political-economic systems of Turkic-speaking regions. Additionally, he holds the distinction of being Romania's first Muslim ambassador, having represented the country in Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.
