Tetyana Oharkova

Tetyana Oharkova is a prominent Ukrainian literary academic and co-founder of Pen Ukraine, where she actively engages in cultural resistance against the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Alongside her husband, Volodymyr Yermolenko, she produces political and cultural podcasts, organizes poetry events for both civilians and soldiers, and facilitates the delivery of essential supplies to frontline areas. Oharkova, who teaches French literature at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, is deeply committed to the defense of Ukrainian culture and identity, seeing her work as part of a broader tradition of politically engaged intellectualism in Ukraine.
