
Thainara Faria
Thainara Faria is a Brazilian politician and member of the Workers' Party (PT), currently serving as the leader of the minority in the São Paulo Legislative Assembly (Alesp). At just 30 years old, she made history as the youngest and first black woman and LGBT+ individual to hold this position. With a political base in Araraquara, she is a close ally of former mayor Edinho Silva and is recognized for her commitment to unifying the opposition against Governor Tarcísio de Freitas, particularly focusing on issues of poverty and social welfare.
