Tung Yen Lin was a Chinese-American engineer recognized for his ambitious vision of connecting Alaska and Siberia via a bridge, known as the 'Intercontinental Peace Bridge.' His proposal emerged in the 1950s and reflected a long-standing interest in creating a land link between Asia and North America, yet it never progressed beyond the conceptual stage.
