
Verônica Abdalla Sterman
Verônica Abdalla Sterman is a Brazilian lawyer who was recently nominated by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva for the position of minister of the Superior Military Court (STM) on International Women's Day. She is a graduate of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and holds a master's degree in Criminal Law from the University of São Paulo. At 40 years old, she is a partner at Abdalla Sterman Advogados and has previously represented prominent political figures, including former minister Paulo Bernardo and Gleisi Hoffmann. If approved by the Senate, she will be the second woman to serve on the STM since its establishment in 1808.
