Viktoras Medvedčukas is a prominent pro-Russian Ukrainian politician and close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin. He currently leads the pro-Russian party 'Another Ukraine,' which was established for him by Moscow in 2023. Medvedchuk has a long history of supporting Russian interests in Ukraine and has previously initiated several pro-Russian political projects, none of which were successful. He was imprisoned by Ukrainian authorities in 2022 but was later exchanged for captured Ukrainian soldiers.
