Viktoras Medvedčukas

Viktoras Medvedčukas is a prominent pro-Russian Ukrainian politician and close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin. He currently leads the pro-Russian party 'Another Ukraine,' which was established for him by Moscow in 2023. Medvedchuk has a long history of supporting Russian interests in Ukraine and has previously initiated several pro-Russian political projects, none of which were successful. He was imprisoned by Ukrainian authorities in 2022 but was later exchanged for captured Ukrainian soldiers. Recently, he has made headlines by commenting on U.S.-Ukraine negotiations, asserting that there is no point in holding new elections in Ukraine.
