
Vittorio Emanuele
Vittorio Emanuele, the last king of Italy, reigned from 1900 until the monarchy's abolition in 1946. Though never crowned, he played a significant role in Italian history, especially during World War II. His decisions during this tumultuous period have been subjects of much debate and scrutiny. Following his exile, he lived in various countries until his death in 1983.
