Wang Deming

Wang Deming was a soldier who played a significant role in the early agricultural development of Xinjiang, China, after following General Wang Zhen during the mass migration and military reclamation efforts in the 1950s. He is noted for his ownership of a heavily patched army coat, which has become a symbol of the hardships faced during this period and is now preserved as a national revolutionary relic.
