Alia

Despite the severe restrictions imposed on women by the Taliban, Alia remained committed to amplifying women's voices through her work in radio. Her journalistic efforts documented the fears and concerns of women in Afghanistan, highlighting the impact of radical ideology on their rights and freedoms. Following growing threats to her safety and the closure of female-run media outlets, Alia was forced to leave her position, marking a tragic setback in her efforts to advocate for women's rights in her country.
