George W. Bush
George W. Bush is an American politician and businessman who served as the 43rd President of the United States from 2001 to 2009. As the son of former President George H.W. Bush, he was previously the Governor of Texas before his presidency. His time in office was defined by significant events, most notably the September 11 attacks in 2001, which led to the War on Terror and the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. Bush's administration faced criticism for its handling of the wars, economic policies, and responses to Hurricane Katrina, but he remained a significant figure in the Republican Party.
