
Alin Fumurescu
Alin Fumurescu is a Romanian political scientist and professor of political philosophy at the University of Houston in the United States. He holds two master's degrees in political science and completed his PhD at Indiana University, where his dissertation won the Leo Strauss award for the best doctoral thesis in political philosophy. Fumurescu has published extensively, including two monographs with Cambridge University Press, and has served as director of the Tocqueville Forum for American Ideas and Institutions. He is known for his analysis of Trumpism, its roots in American society, and its implications for both the United States and Europe.
