Ana Henrieta Neczpal

Ana Henrieta Neczpal, born on November 13, 1948, in Timișoara, was a talented designer who sought to emigrate to the West but was arrested for attempting to cross the border illegally. She was sentenced to one year in prison but was released in 1968. Her experiences reflect the struggles of many artists during Romania's communist regime.
