Juliana Fabritius Dancu

Juliana Fabritius Dancu, born in 1930 in Sibiu, was a notable Romanian painter, ethnographer, and art historian. Despite facing political persecution during the communist regime, leading to her imprisonment for alleged espionage, she continued to contribute to the arts. After her release, she worked at various museums, documenting Romanian culture and history through her artistic and scholarly efforts.
