Bronius Liesius-Naktis

Bronius Liesius-Naktis was a key figure in the Lithuanian resistance movement against Soviet occupation. As a signatory of the Lithuanian Freedom Fight Council's Declaration in 1949, he played an essential role in legitimizing the armed struggle for Lithuania's independence. Liesius-Naktis's life was cut short by the very conflict he dedicated himself to, serving as a symbol of sacrifice for his nation.
