Juozas Šibaila-Merainis

Juozas Šibaila-Merainis was an influential member of the Lithuanian partisan forces who contributed to the 1949 Declaration of the Lithuanian Freedom Fight Council. His leadership and dedication to the cause of Lithuanian freedom were pivotal during a time of great turmoil. He perished in the struggle for independence, never witnessing the liberation of his country.
