João Oliveira
João Oliveira is a prominent Portuguese politician and lawyer, known for his long-standing association with the Communist Party of Portugal (PCP). Born in Évora, he served as a member of the Portuguese Parliament from 2005 to 2022, representing the Évora electoral district. Oliveira held the position of leader of the PCP parliamentary group from 2013 until 2022, and was an influential member of the party's Central Committee. Recently, he was announced as the head of the Democratic Unitary Coalition (CDU) list for the upcoming local elections in Évora, reflecting the coalition's strategic focus on the municipality.
