Maria Drokova

Maria Drokova, formerly known as Maria Bucher, is a former pro-Kremlin youth activist who gained recognition as a public relations figure for the nationalist youth organization Nashi. She became notable for her appearance in the documentary 'The Kiss of Putin,' which highlighted her ideological shift away from the movement. After relocating to San Francisco, she reinvented herself as a media consultant and venture capital investor. Drokova has been in the news for her connections with Jeffrey Epstein, as they corresponded regarding public relations strategies and her startup, Day One Ventures, which she founded in 2018.
