Miad Maleki is a prominent figure known for his role in shaping U.S. sanctions against Iran during the Trump administration. A Bahá'í and Israeli Zionist, Maleki immigrated to the United States in the early 2000s, serving briefly in the U.S. Air Force before joining the U.S. Department of the Treasury in 2017.
