Oleksandr Usik
Oleksandr Usik is a Ukrainian professional boxer and current heavyweight champion, renowned for his technical skill and agility in the ring. Born on January 17, 1987, in Simferopol, Crimea, he began his boxing career in the amateur ranks, where he won a gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics. Transitioning to professional boxing, Usik quickly made a name for himself, becoming the first undisputed cruiserweight champion in the four-belt era in 2018. He has since moved up to heavyweight, where he has held multiple titles, including the WBC, WBA, and WBO belts. As of 2023, Usik remains undefeated in his professional career with a record of 23 wins, showcasing his prowess against top contenders, including a notable victory over Tyson Fury. Recently, Usik announced his intention to retire from boxing after two more fights, signaling the end of an illustrious career.
