Parag Agrawal served as the CEO of Twitter from November 2021 until his dismissal in October 2022, following Elon Musk's acquisition of the platform. A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and Stanford University, Agrawal joined Twitter in 2011 as an ads engineer and quickly climbed the ranks, becoming CTO before assuming the CEO role. His tenure was marked by efforts to improve Twitter's technology and user experience, but he faced challenges during Musk's takeover, which included significant layoffs and a shift in company direction.
