PK Mishra is a senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1972 batch from the Gujarat cadre, currently serving as the principal secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has a long-standing association with Modi, having worked closely with him during his tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat. Mishra has played a crucial role in the Prime Minister's Office since his appointment in September 2019, providing policy guidance and administrative support.
