
Rachel Corrie
Rachel Corrie was an American peace activist and member of the International Solidarity Movement who became widely known for her efforts to protect Palestinian homes from demolition in Gaza. In March 2003, she was killed by an Israeli bulldozer while attempting to block the demolition of a Palestinian home, sparking international outrage and drawing attention to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
