
William O’Brien
William O’Brien (1852-1928) was an Irish nationalist politician and journalist known for his advocacy of land reform and social justice in Ireland. He was a prominent member of the Irish Parliamentary Party and later became a founding member of the All-for-Ireland League, which aimed to unite Irish nationalists across different political divides. O’Brien was also a vocal critic of Charles Stewart Parnell, especially during the internal conflicts within the nationalist movement, highlighting issues of leadership and direction in the struggle for Irish independence.
