
Antonio Imbert Barrera
Antonio Imbert Barrera was a Dominican military officer and one of the key conspirators in the assassination of dictator Rafael Trujillo. His motivations for participating in the plot included personal grievances against Trujillo's oppressive regime. After Trujillo's assassination on May 30, 1961, Imbert played a significant role in the transitional government that followed.
