Astrid Caldas

Astrid Caldas is a senior climate scientist with the American nonprofit organization Union of Concerned Scientists, which was founded at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1969. She has been an outspoken advocate for climate action and has critically analyzed the implications of international climate policies, particularly in light of the United States' withdrawal from the Paris Agreement under former President Donald Trump.
