Mindy Woods

Mindy Woods is an accomplished chef and owner of Karkalla On Country near Byron Bay, Australia. As a Bundjalung woman, she made history as the first Indigenous female contestant on MasterChef Australia. Recognized for her efforts in blending cultures and empowering underrepresented communities within the culinary industry, Woods received the prestigious Champions of Change Award from the World’s 50 Best Restaurants. Her mission is to cultivate a more inclusive food landscape that supports minority voices and celebrates Australia's rich indigenous heritage.
