Félix Yong

Félix Yong is the current representative of the second generation at El Chinito, a traditional Peruvian sandwich shop that has been in operation for 65 years. He emphasizes the importance of maintaining the quality and authenticity of their signature chicharrón sandwich, which blends Peruvian and Oriental culinary traditions. Under his leadership, El Chinito has expanded to 13 locations in Lima while preserving its historical roots at the original site. Recently, the establishment gained recognition as the Best Sandwich Shop at the Premios Somos, and its chicharrón sandwich was featured in the World Breakfast Championship organized by Spanish streamer Ibai Llanos, showcasing the strength of Peruvian cuisine on a global stage.
