Vicente Carrillo Fuentes, also known as 'Viceroy', is a prominent Mexican drug lord and the brother of the late Amado Carrillo Fuentes, leader of the Juárez Cartel. After taking control of the cartel following his brother's death in 1997, Carrillo Fuentes led one of Mexico's most powerful drug trafficking organizations during a time of intense rivalry with the Sinaloa Cartel.
