Ami Bera
Ami Bera is an American physician and politician who has served as a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives since 2013, representing California's 7th congressional district. As one of the few Indian-American members of Congress, Bera has focused on healthcare, education, and foreign relations, particularly regarding the Indo-Pacific region. He was recently in the news for co-sponsoring a bipartisan Senate resolution supporting Taiwan and countering China's claims regarding UN Resolution 2758.
