Charles Darrow

Charles Darrow is best known as the creator of Monopoly, having sold the game to Parker Brothers in the 1930s. Although initially credited with inventing the game, it was later revealed that his concept was based on a previous game called The Landlord’s Game, created by activist Elizabeth Magie.
