Ri Sol Ju
Ri Sol Ju is the wife of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, often described as one of the most mysterious women in the world. Born in Chongjin, North Korea, she hails from a distinguished family, with her mother being a chief of the gynecology department and her father a professor. Ri studied singing in China and reportedly performed with the Unhasu Orchestra. She married Kim Jong Un in 2009 and became the 'Respected First Lady' of North Korea in 2018. Despite the secrecy surrounding her life, she has made notable public appearances, including international visits alongside her husband, and has been involved in diplomatic efforts to ease tensions. Ri's fashion choices and public presence have garnered significant media attention, showcasing a contrast to the traditional portrayal of women in North Korea.
