
Kim Dae-jung
Kim Dae-jung was a prominent South Korean politician and the 8th President of South Korea, serving from 1998 to 2003. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2000 for his efforts to promote democracy and reconciliation with North Korea, notably through the historic summit with Kim Jong Il.
