Viktoriia Roshchyna was a courageous Ukrainian journalist known for her relentless pursuit of truth during the war in Ukraine. Captured in 2023 while reporting from occupied territories, she was subjected to torture and ultimately died in Russian custody at the age of 27. Roshchyna was dedicated to exposing the plights of civilians and the atrocities committed during the conflict, risking her life to bring attention to the suffering of her compatriots.
