Iratxe García
Iratxe García is a Spanish politician and the leader of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament. She has been a vocal advocate for social justice and labor rights within the EU. In response to the recent tariffs imposed by the United States, García called for the EU to consider imposing retaliatory tariffs on strategic sectors of the U.S. economy, highlighting her belief that protectionism leads to confrontation rather than shared prosperity.
