Sergei Beseda
Sergei Beseda is a former head of the Fifth Service of the FSB, the Russian Federal Security Service, where he oversaw intelligence operations in Ukraine. Recently, he was appointed to lead peace negotiations with the United States in Saudi Arabia, following Russia's planning of its large-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
